I have been photographing families for 16 years now. Most of the time I sit or stand subjects on stools, chairs, steps, and even phonebooks to get heads in the right place. I always worry about kids falling off some of these improvised objects, they rarely fit in the right place, and they definitely don’t look professional. I needed a change.


Your posing blocks came on a day I had several families to photograph. I took them out of the shipping box... out of the carrying case... and started using them instantly. I saw a huge difference in the look of the prop and most importantly, the look of the portraits. I found these posing blocks lightweight, professional looking, and just the right sizes for the job. I also found that the kit is easy to transport to on-location sessions. I would recommend your blocks to anyone.

I have been using Hanson Fong’s EZ-Steps for several years. I use them at every wedding I photograph, as well as with many of my family portraits, both on location and in the studio. I love the ease that I can carry them and the convenience of the various sizes of steps. Being able to raise and lower peoples height of a person in a group photograph on location never was easier. The EZ-Step is one of the most useful tools I have ever purchased for my photography business. I recommend it to all of my fellow photographers. Thank you Hanson!

I was at your workshop in Chicago. I purchases a set of the large posing blocks. Today was the first day I used them with a family of four. The parents are very tall and the teenagers are very short. The kids loves standing on the blocks. I had one person sit on a stool and used a block ti get the feet higher. It takes me a long time to decide on purchasing any new product for my business but I can say that, without a doubt, this was a GREAT purchase. I also loved the explanation of how to use the blocks with real people at the seminar.
