Hanson flew in from Florida on Saturday. Like I mentioned he was at Light Pro Expo. We met in HOT HOT Sacramento on Sunday.

It was an all day symposium and I had fun. I hope the students felt the same. From what I heard they did but feel free to leave a message about your Sacramento experience :)

Hanson did some av presentation that included his “Classic 10” poses and images that showed the lighting he explained next:

So What’s New?

Well at the moment Hanson is in Florida relaxing by the pool (after his MAC tour program in Chicago on Monday and Light Pro Expo Tuesday through Thursday). But really I can’t be jealous that man seriously needs some down time. Anyone who knows him can tell you how hard he works. Sometimes I want to yell at him “Take a day off! SIT DOWN! Get some rest!” But he is my boss so of course I can’t do that! I just tell him very nicely that he does not need to work everyday and that I will not be here on Saturday :) just kidding we were here last Saturday because it was the only full day he was in town! But this Saturday forget it! Sunday though...is anyone going to his program in Sacramento? If you do I will be there in a wedding dress.

Yep you read right. My husband and I will be modeling for part of Hanson’s program. The funny thing is my husband has never seen me in a wedding dress but yes we are legally married...go figure. :)

Anyway we have had a good month overall. Busy but good. I can’t believe it is almost October! We did our last wedding for the season and now it is time to play catch up :)... Like I will ever be caught up! Right? If you are a working photographer you get what I am saying.

If anyone wants to see examples of Hanson’s work of anything specific please let me know. Right now I want to show you some pics of our last wedding and how our EZ-Steps came in very handy ;)

On the Road

Ok so I am a bit behind...ok a lot behind but it is hard keeping up with this man! I am going to back track a bit and show some stuff from the Long Island Photo Workshop.

He had a great time on the beach and really enjoyed all of his students and models :) Thanks everyone!

Weddings, Weddings, Weddings

Hanson is actually in town so that means Weddings! We had two weddings this past weekend and one the Weekend before that. If you follow his schedule this would mean he had Jenny and Yosh’s wedding (such a fun couple) on 8/2 and then Hanson flew to New York on sunday 8/3, then he flew in from New York at 3am on 8/8. We had Suzanne and Conan’s Wedding (amazing people) that day and then Chelsea and Wyn’s Wedding (I am blessed with awesome wedding clients) on 8/9. CRAZY CRAZY MAN! But we always have a lot of fun and now it’s time to catch up and do all the fun post processing :)

You Want to know the Real Hanson fong!?!

So you want to know the real Hanson Fong? Well let me tell you...

I guess I should first introduce myself. I am Hanson’s Studio Manager. He hired me in November. I am from the Indian Reservation in the real Northern California :) and San Francisco is the biggest city I have ever lived and worked!

So Hanson Fong... Yes well what do I say about Hanson? He is a photographer, teacher, and all around good guy :) He is also a major workaholic but he is dedicated to his clients and students.

This blog is going to be the inside look at who Hanson really is, as a photographer, teacher, and boss.... I will be showing his recent work from his studio clients, weddings and teaching and Hanson himself will have to add a comment now and again.
